Plants, the first step to a healthy aquarium.

Anubias Nana

Anubias Nana has lush dark green leaves that can grow to 5-6 inch. These plants are a low to medium light slow growing plant. They do best when their rhizome is not buried but instead attached to a structure such as a rock. They may be slow growing but they do take lots of nutrients which is a great benefit for any aquarium.

Water Sprite

This plant is a fern species. It is beginner friendly and a relatively fast growing plant. Its' dense foliage does great at providing shelter for small fish and shrimp as well as fry. It will grow under variable light levels, variable CO2 levels and variable water conditions. It is a must have for our aquariums.  It can be grown either floating or planted.

Water Wisteria

Similar to water sprite is water wisteria. Water wisteria is another dense foliage plant that grows in variable conditions. It has broader leaves that create more of a forest and a great resting place for even bettas! This plant can be grown either floating or planted

Java Fern

Java fern trident is one of the most interesting java ferns because this variety has long, fork-like leaves that give it an unique look. This plant tolerates most lighting conditions and water conditions. it has to be attached to a structure and can not be planted.

Monte Carlo

This is one of the easiest, beginner friendly carpeting plant. This thing really will take off with CO2, high lighting and fertilization. It can also be grown dry to really carpet it before setting up a tank completely.

Guppy Grass

This is the perfect plant for shrimp and fish fry. It is the plant that keeps on coming back. It is a floating plant but can also be attached or planted. Very beginner friendly and brings a tank just up to that next level.
